Fees, Development Charges and Building By-laws

Building Permit Fee’s

Refer to the Building Permit Fee Schedule within By-law #24 -36. Once an application is received within Cloud Permit, an invoice will be generated. All fees and charges listed in the invoice are payable prior to processing the building permit application.

Development Charges

Development Charges (DC) are fees collected from new development at the time a building permit is issued. Ontario municipalities use DCs to recover certain costs associated with residential and non-residential growth. Developers help the Town pay for additional municipal services required, like; new water systems, roads infrastructure, parks, trails and fire facilities.
