WHAT IS A CIP?

A CIP is an Economic Development tool and the adoption of the CIP is a requirement for making incentive programs available. Allows a municipality to implement certain tools, such as providing grants and loans to businesses and landowners. A plan or framework to improve, restore, redevelop, and rehabilitate public and private properties (non-residential).

GOALS FOR THE TOWN OF ERIN COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PLAN:

Stimulate economic development and contribute to the Town of Erin as a business friendly community and that we are “Open for Business”.

Encourage and support the growth of existing business opportunities in key areas of economic activity throughout the Town of Erin; and Assist with revitalization and beautification efforts to make the Town of Erin a more inviting destination.
