2020 Erin Community Recognition Awards

Do you know an individual, business, or organization that has made a significant difference in our community this year? Let them know how much they mean to our Town, by nominating them for an Erin Community Recognition Award!

On April 24, 2020, the Town of Erin will be holding a special ceremony to honour individuals, organizations and businesses, who have made a significant contribution to our community, during the 2019 calendar year. Nominees do not need to be residents of Erin, but their contributions must be to the betterment of the Town of Erin community.

New to the recognition program this year, the Town will be extending our recognition and thanks to local businesses, groups and organizations that have positively influenced our community through the newly identified categories:

• Community Volunteer Award: This award is presented to five individuals who have contributed to the betterment of our community, through their volunteerism.
• Citizen of the Year Award: This award recognizes one individual who has positively influenced the Town of Erin community, through their volunteerism.
• Agriculture/ Agri-Business Award: This award recognizes any individual, group, organization, or business who has an innovative approach or has overcome significant challenges in the agricultural or agri-business sector.
• Business of the Year Award: This award is presented to a business that has had a positive impact on the Town of Erin community.

Submissions will be accepted until February 28, 2020 and can be submitted through email communications@erin.ca or delivered to the Town of Erin Municipal Office - 5684 Trafalgar Road.
