Town of Erin Municipal office to close starting Monday Dec 20

ERIN, ON: On the advice of the Medical Officer of Health for Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health, and in line with COVID19 safety steps taken by the Province of Ontario and neighbouring municipalities, Erin Town Hall will close to public starting Monday, December 20 until further notice.

As COVID19 infection numbers continue to rise, the safety of our residents and staff continues to be our top priority. Regular Town of Erin services will be available online and over the phone (except during the holiday closures). Reopening of Town Hall will be dependent on the prevailing situation and as per the guidance of our medical health staff and provincial regulations.

  • Taxes and Water payments can be paid through financial institutions, by sending an e-transfer to epayments@erin.ca, or by calling 519.855.4407 EXT. 226.
  • Burn permits can be filled out online, with payment submitted to epayments@erin.ca
  • Dog tags can be obtained online here.
  • Additionally, there is a secure 24/7 drop-box, located at Town Hall.

Holiday Closures:

Please note that starting noon on Friday, December 24 until Tuesday January 3, regular Town Hall services will not be available. However, our Roads and Recreation staff will be available through Roads@erin.ca and Recreation@erin.ca. Regular service over the phone and online will resume on Wednesday January 4.
