The Town of Erin is advising residents that the Culvert 10 replacement project will continue until May 22, 2024, and therefore Sideroad 17 between 8th Line (North and South of the Sideroad 17 jog) will remain closed until May 22 while construction work continues.
Local access will be maintained at all times for residents and businesses from either the west, east, or north, however, through-access will not be permitted.
The intersection at Sideroad 17 and 8th Line north of Sideroad 17 has been temporarily re-opened, however, will be closed again starting on March 21 to give the contractor access to complete the work.
All agencies, such as, but not limited to emergency services, student transportation services, waste collection and postal service will be notified of this extended road closure.
Every effort will be made to ensure there is minimal or no disruption to the services they provide.
Road closure notification signs will continue to be maintained throughout the project.
