The Town of Erin is excited to announce Ted Michael's appointment as our new Fire Chief & Director of Emergency Services for the Town of Erin, effective June 30, 2025.
Since joining us in 2003, Ted has continuously demonstrated exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the safety of our community.
With more than three decades of expertise in Fire & Emergency Services, Chief Michael has demonstrated outstanding leadership in fire services, including his current role as Chief Fire Prevention Officer for the Town of Erin.
He effectively manages a team of 60 volunteer firefighters, leads community outreach initiatives, and enhances public safety through rigorous fire code compliance and meticulous inspections.
His experience also extends to serving as Division Chief Fire Prevention Officer for the Town of Milton where he led the fire prevention division. Congratulations Chief Michael on this significant career milestone.
