Veteran Tree Management

Please be advised that the Town of Erin has started its Veteran Tree Management process in our parks and open spaces. This is an integrated, ecosystem-based management of the Town of Erin's urban parks to develop a sustainable and resilient green space that complements the biodiversity values of the surrounding natural environment. Tree retention in all out spaces is a priority, however as Veteran trees finish its degradation cycle they will be removed and replaced with new plantings.

We have started the process in Lions Park and will continue until September, with new plantings in Spring 2021.
