Strategic Plan/ Parks, Recreation & Culture Master Plan/ Economic Development Plan

The Town of Erin is working with Global Investment Attraction Group and Sierra Planning and Management to create three new, diverse and bold plans, which will move the Town forward.

To move the community forward, the Town requires; a clear mission, a clear vision, term of Council priorities, a recreation and parks vision, and an economic development plan to attract and retain/ enhance businesses. The Town of Erin has also recently adopted a Future Ready approach to its operations in which it looks to exemplify the values of customer service, performance and innovation. Recognizing the need to embrace new governance systems and structures to meet the modern challenges facing municipal governments, the Town of Erin has embarked on a path to reimagine the outmoded governance system present in most municipalities.

Strategic Plan

The Town of Erin’s Strategic Plan will set long-term vision (10+ years) for the Town’s future success. With a clear vision and mission set, it will shape Council’s term goals and define the Town’s objectives and priorities in a realistic, achievable and measureable way.

Economic Development Plan

The Town of Erin’s Economic Development plan will look to achieve how to best attract and retain business in the Town and which industries and sectors to target, along with setting key goals and objectives for economic development activities.

Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan

The Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan will look at the future of the Town’s recreational services and programming. It will look to build a robust cultural piece, on top of the planning of active and passive park spaces.
