Founded in 1978, T.E.A.D. is a charitable organization that provides therapeutic horseback riding instruction to people with physical and cognitive/communication disabilities.
Equestrian Canada (EC) is the national governing body for equestrian sport and industry in Canada, with a mandate to represent, promote and advance all equine and equestrian interests. With over 18,000 sport licence holders, 90,000 registered participants, 12 provincial/territorial sport organization partners and 10+ national equine affiliate organizations, EC is a significant contributor to the social, physical, emotional and economic wellbeing of the equestrian industry across Canada.
Equine Erin develops creative and marketing strategy, horse events, equine education and workshops. Equine Erin is owned by Bridget Ryan who lives on and operates a small horse farm in the Town of Erin. Equine Erin's vision includes the creation of collaborative, and sustainable partnerships supported by a little horseplay, include Equine Facilitated Learning: individuals and groups - YogaHorse workshops and yoga sessions.
Equine Guelph is the horse owner’s Centre at the University of Guelph, supported and overseen by equine industry groups, and dedicated to improving the health and well-being of horses.
