The Treasury Department is responsible for the coordination and management of the financial affairs of the municipality in accordance with the applicable municipal by-laws and provincial legislation.

The 2010 Budget has been passed by Council.

The 2010 Tax Rates have been set.

The 2010 Tax Information Pamphlet provides Town information as well as information regarding your taxes.  The 2010 Tax Information Pamphlet will be included in your second tax bill mailing coming out in the summer.

Annual taxes are calculated using the assessed value of your property times the applicable tax rate as set each year. 

The assessment of your property is used to calculate your annual taxes.  MPAC (Municipal Property Assessment Corporation) sets the assessment of property.  To contact MPAC:
