The 2009 Budget By-law has been passed therefore we have processed the 2009 tax rates. The 2009 Tax Rate By-law has been passed and the 2009 tax bills have been sent out. If you have not received your tax bill please contact the office immediately with your correct mailing address.
The 2009 Tax Information Pamphlet provides Town information and provides information regarding your taxes.
Annual taxes are calculated using the assessed value of your property times the applicable tax rate as set each year.
The assessment of your property is used to calculate your annual taxes. MPAC (Municipal Property Assessment Corporation) sets the assessment of property. To contact MPAC:
