A Community Improvement Plan is an Economic Development tool that allows a municipality to implement certain initiativ es, such as providing grants and loans to businesses and landowners with the intent to improve, restore, redevelop, and rehabilitate public and private (non-residential) properties.

COUNTY OF WELLINGTON
The County's NEW Transportation Service
RIDE WELL is a County wide, demand based, public transit service available to all residents. The Government of Ontario is currently funding the five-year pilot of this service.
Digital Transformation Grant
The Digital Transformation Grant provides $2,500 to each qualifying small main street Ontario business to purchase and adopt digital tools and technologies. There are less than 50% of grants available, with the last day to apply being December 31, 2019

AVAILABLE FUNDING
Canadian Agricultural Partnership - Grants up to 50% towards increasing the sustainability, competitiveness and prosperity of Ontario's agriculture and agri-food sector. 
Southwestern Ontario Development Fund - Contributes 15% up to $5 million in grants and four-year interest-free loans towards investments that create jobs and lead to economic growth. 
Climate Action Incentive Fund - Grants of 25% up to $250,000 for businesses to reduce energy usage, costs and/or GHG emissions.
