The Town is undertaking a Servicing and Settlement Master Plan (SSMP) to identify strategies for community planning and municipal servicing, particularly water supply and sanitary sewage service, within the service area of Erin Village and the Village of Hillsburgh.
The strategies will ensure that growth in the community will meet Provincial, County and Municipal projections while providing levels of municipal servicing consistent with provincial regulations in a safe, reliable, sustainable and cost effective manner to meet both short and long term demands.
The SSMP will consider innovative planning concepts and principles and servicing technologies towards the development of a Master Plan that recognizes potential impacts to sensitive land uses and surface and groundwater, consistent with the Town’s long term objectives as expressed in various planning documents.
