STATION ROAD – Trafalgar Road to Sixth Line closed – UPDATE
February 1, 2012 – Station Road has been closed between Trafalgar Road and the 6th Line due to the failure of a culvert. There is a hole in an existing culvert which crosses under Station Road.
The affected area has been closed with barricades and signage has been posted. The road will remain closed until remedial works have been completed.
The Town of Erin is working to obtain approvals for remedial works from regulating agencies (MNR and CVC). The exact timeline of these approvals is unknown.
Station Road is open to local traffic only from Trafalgar Road to # 3 Station Road and Station Road is open to local traffic only from the 6th Line to # 9 Station Road. The area between # 3 and # 9 Station Road is completely inaccessible.
